The Marble Urn was designed to introduce the concept of urn rental within Memoria’s sustainability practices. Cremated remains are placed in a folded cotton bag intended for burial; the bag was also developed to function as a dispersal bag when required. Made from marble workshop offcuts, the Marble Urn is hand-assembled, piece by piece, to achieve its final cylindrical form.
